Our Verdict
A dark and gritty re-imagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is something that nobody was asking for, but after watching this trailer it’s all you’ll be asking for! It looks and feels like a high quality HBO drama and gives a very different take on the kid whose life got turned upside down. The acting is excellent and it’s great to see the more realistic takes on some of the 90’s most memorable characters. And it still manages to squeeze in lyrics and famous lines from the show.
