Our Verdict
Dark Souls is a fantastic game, but you’re often too busy trying to avoid being slaughtered to admire it’s and it’s possible to make your way through the whole game without fully grasping what the narrative actually is. DARK SOULS – FATE‘s high quality animation (created using the game engine, camera hacks, graphical touch-ups and precision editing) not only allows you to really appreciate the narrative and the artwork, but also allow you to revisit those familiar places and faces that you spent so much time with. It’s an exquisite piece of machinima animation and the beautiful accompanying music score really makes the whole thing feel suitably epic.
