A Detroit: Become Human fan film that follows on from the game, which explores the relationship between a human cop and his android partner – a freed RK900 (a successor to Connor’s Deviant Hunter model).
Detroit Awakening is Directed by
Maximilian Koger, Ty Anaya, and Michael Smallwood
An interesting and thought provoking fan film that actually deals with more complex issues than the original game did. How does an android that was designed to destroy deviant androids deal with being born as a deviant android? The RK900 may have been born free, but it still has to learn how to be free and how to reconcile its emotions.

I thought the film was incredible and was very happy to have seen it, and especially proud of being able to see what other fans of DBH have created. But recently, the news of Ty Anya saying some rather disgusting things to people have changed my view on his part of the film. Though I do not in any way condone that behavior, that wont effect what thought of the film as a whole. It was well done, and a lot of effort and caring was obviously put into if. One mans actions do not take away from the entire production, simply from that one man.
