Our Verdict
A very impressive fan film with plenty of fan service and clever use of visual FX that nails Dragon Ball Z’s OTT Anime action (which is no mean feat). Visually episodes 2 & 3 are a lot better than Episode 1, but even Episode 1 is great fun to watch. The acting and narrative are good, but as ever in Dragon Ball Z, its when the combat starts that Light of Hope really shines. The fight scenes are very well choreographed and packed full of ridiculously overpowered attacks and Anime styled spectacle that Dragon Ball Z is renowned for.

Never thought I'd see the day a live action version of DBZ did the series justice but this is awesome!
