Our Verdict
It’s got an eclectic mix of stop motion, cardboard cut-outs, toys, overlays, animation and CGI that not only works surprisingly well, but also makes the film feel very unique. Sure, it doesn’t look remotely realistic, but it captures the cheesy B-movie feel of the originals, while also delivering a visual style that feels fresh and new.
