Our Verdict
The quality of animation is more akin to an old Saturday morning cartoon than a Disney movie but it works well and allows for a surprisingly epic feeling battle between Kong and Godzilla. The sound design is excellent, packed full of roars, growls and bone-crunching impacts. There’s a nice variety of locations that the pair fight across too, with the final underwater area finally giving Godzilla the edge over Kong.
