Our Verdict
The Joker origin story has always been shrouded in mystery (and it’s one of the things that makes him so enigmatic), but Joker Rising has a very good stab at it. Considering it’s a full length movie shot in just 8 days for $3,000, it’s remarkably well produced, with some great acting and a very dark narrative. Whats more, Hobbs’s plays the Joker perfectly, really capturing the unhinged, dangerous and broken man he is.
