Our Verdict
Clocking in at just over 50 minutes, Never Hike Alone is almost a full length feature move and due to that it’s a very slow burn with very little of note happening for the first half of the movie. The main character is very likeable though and he’s a better actor than those seen in the majority of Jason’s official releases. When Jason does eventually show up he is satisfyingly menacing though those that crave lots of brutal deaths may be disappointed as there are very few characters to kill.
