Our Verdict
A live action Sonic movie could go very badly indeed, but it works surprisingly well in his fan film. Sonic’s hair looks a little strange and he’s a little slower than normal, but on the whole the visual FX are well done, it’s got a nice sense of humor and there’s plenty of fan service, with lots of classic baddies making an appearance. The only downer is that there’s no Tails, but maybe he’ll turn up in a sequel!
