Our Verdict
Hollywood have been attempting (and failing) to adapt Katsuhiro Ôtomo’s cyberpunk anime masterpiece for some time now, but this excellent fan made trailer gives a glimpse of what a live action remake could look like. It looks fantasic and it really nails the dystopian cyberpunk atmosphere and epic Sci-Fi setting. If Hollywood do eventually manage to make an Akira move, hopefully it’ll be as good as this trailer!
