Our Verdict
The animation in this very different take on the cheery yellow sea-sponge’s adventures is fantastic. The Animified character designes of SPongeBob and pals are all excellent and the cheesy J-Rock soundtrack fits well. Both intro sequences are very well done and they manage to pack in a lot of details about what would happen in the actual Anime series – clearly some very dark sh*t went down during season one judging by the state of the cast in season two!
