Our Verdict
This detective mash-up may be played for laughs but it’s very well done and isn’t afraid to get a little dark. It’s interesting to see the seedy underbelly of the Pokémon universe and there’s lots of great fan service and in-jokes – all capped off with a sombre HBO take on the Pokémon theme song!
